I'm getting error while i run my application in Internet explorer.In other browsers it is running very well.
Script is return to prevent postback of page when i click on any textbox,as it was redirecting me to home page.Script is written on Master Page.

<script type ="text/javascript"  language="javascript">
     var texts = $("#textBoxID").bind("keydown", function (event) {
         var key = event.keyCode ? event.keyCode : event.charCode;
         if (key == 13) {
             if (!event)
                 event = window.event;
             event.stopPropagation();
             event.preventDefault();
             event.returnValue = false;
             return false;
         }
     });
 </script>

Errors are:-
1.Microsoft JScript runtime error: Object expected
2.Microsoft JScript runtime error: Object doesn't support this property or method

Please give me the solution if any one knows.....
