I done a example program in web services, in that we create a webservice and we call the services in asp.net by simply copy and paste the web service link. then how it is security , if the links got by the hackers there's more loss of data no.


can any one help me by explaining the security in web services.

AFAIK you can get a SSL certificate and put it into HTTPS://[^]

You can also authenticate your web service, here is nice CP article I have found.

Refer it:
