I have an idea for my graduation project, I want to get as many openions and recommendation as I can so it'll be a great project.
my idea:
-Create a virtual reality so that users can VIRTUALY walk through this world "Thinking to make my university as a virtual university"

-Connect or link this virtual reality to the internet so people "or students" can accesss it from their own PC via a browser

First I was thinking of 3Ds max then I learned that it can't be linked to the internet
someone recommended VRML (virtual reality markup language)

I searched the web for it but i didn't realy find something that might help a lot
so my questions are:

1- What do you think about the idea ?
2- What Language do you recommend to use in developing this project?
3- Any more Ideas, openions or recommendations are most welcome
