ReportViewer: Is a report server necessary?

Hello,

I created a reportviewer on one of my web pages; local report. There will very few users who actually have access to page and I was wondering if it was ok that I chose to use a local report vs a server report? If a local report is sufficient for the small user group that will be utilizing it, I do not see the need for a dedicated reporting server. Am I correct is this assumption?

According to my experience it seems OK to me to use local report.
