I have a windows service which i have been using on a windows server 2008 for some time with out any issues.

I'm no trying to get this to work on a windows Server 2012 box.

The windows service has an installer project and will install / uninstall fine on both servers, how ever on the server 2012 box the service never appears in the services.msc page.

I can see the service on the task manager page and can stop / start it ( it works fine ), but because i cannot see it on the services.msc i cannot add extra details to it ( e.g what to do it if crashes etc..)

Has any one encountered this issue where a service works, but does not show on the services.msc page
