How to add AJAX Control Toolkit in Visual Studio 2012?

Assalam-o-Alaikum,
I am trying to add AJAX control toolkit in my web application asp.net c# project
But I am unable to do so, after I add tab and AJAXToolkit.dll, all AJAX tools become disabled,

P.S : I am making web application project under .NET 4.5 and downloaded and tried the toolkits
v4.5,v4.0 (June 2012,Sept 2012,January 2013,June 2013) but all in vain :(

Any help ?

And I'm trying to get rid of the toolkit in all my projects, and replace it with JQuery plugins.

I read a Microsoft Article that the AJaxControlToolkit has been obsoleted and replaced with JQuery not to long ago. But I still see post hers asking how to install and use it.

I am making my semester project of database....i am not very much familiar of web programming( jquerry, javascript) as I haven't studied the course yet....So please tell me how can i use AJAX control toolkit with VS2012, I want to add autocomplete_extender function etc
