how TO run desktop application over internet

Dear All,
I have a desktop Application in VB.net which is running on intranet via citrix , or vpn .
Now we want my application to use with Global Ip(Internet), so Please suggest me is it possible or not. If possible then how.Please give the detail description.
Please guide me asap

You don't have to do much since you already have the pieces,

1) open the ports need to connect to your citrix server on your internet firewall.
1.1) you may need to configure "virtual server" or "port forwarding" on your internet modem to pass the connect to your citrix server.
2) use your internet IP address to connect.
