Create pie chart using jasper report (ireport)

Hey guyz,

I'm trying to create a pie chart using jasper report (ireport). in my scenario i need to compare a date under 3 conditions.

i want to show id's in the pie chart which are registered after , within, before a specific date.

Can anyone know the process of this problem. I'm using jasper report software to generate report.
please explain this using an example.

I have read these before.these are not meet with my requirements..i need to compare two tables data (both are dates). then need to create a graph according to after , within, before period. please help me to create this graph. anyway thank u for your help :)
