I've hosted a trial website on public ip with specific port number using IIS 8 & Microsoft Windows server 2012. Problem is Me & my friends can't edit the website from remote location like from my laptop. We are developing website in asp.net.

We want our server as web server & also application development server. How do we edit it from any remote location. Need help ! Thanks in advance.

Right now we are doing some jugad (coping) by using TeamViewer.

Talking through my hat here but why not give "Remote Desktop" a whirl? If it's still shipped with the OS under which you're currently administering IIS8 ...

maybe you should setup an account for your use and create a FTP server pointing to your project folder, assigning the permissions from the account you created.

The FTP Server is in IIS Admin, or you need to add the program.
