Gentlemen and Gentle Ladies,

I am trying to find a way to globally-ish perform keyword substitution from my C# application. For instance, if the last written word in Notepad, Outlook, Word, etc is "#time " without the quotes, the "#time" keyword would be substituted by the current time. I have experimented with a few ways to do so, even key-logging (which showed promise until I figured out that the # character (among many others) requires different key combinations based on regional settings) but nothing that seems to fit the bill. I have done two days of googling without success, but I am sure this wheel must already be invented. Anyone have a direction to point me in?

Many thanks,

//L
