Data Base Access using .PC files

As per my knowledge .PC files are used for interaction with DATABASE.
If I'm using more than one database in my application how can make use of .PC file to interact with data base.

I mean to say if I have Oracle and Sql DB's, should i write two .PC files for accessing individual DB.
