We are using Cisco E900 router in our guest house to share broadband internet among the members. To enhance security and speed optimization we have OpenDNS with WebContent filtering in place. However, we still are looking to see if there is a way we can configure the following:

1) Block big downloads like more than 10 MB
2) Bandwidth throttling -- A particular member can not make more connections to the router
3) Since we have OpenDNS in place name based access to blocked sites are working good. However if any member is using Torrent clients and are directly using the IP Address they are making good through the router.

How do we address these issues?

This is not a development problem, strictly speaking.

Where do you recommend posting it then? I believe I have decorated with appropriate tags like 'routing', 'networking' and 'security' to make things clearer as much as possible.

CodeProject is generally for programming issues. You need to find a forum more suited to your problem.

You are welcome. I hope you find something useful, the forums are not so fast as CP but still technically OK
