I created two web applications hosted in same IIS(web server). I need to pass session from one application to other application. I heard that is possible using session mode as sql server. Any idea?

@Rasikazi- Before post I searched in google. Lot of answers came and watched video also. For sharing session SSO(single sign on) concept is neccessary or not? And I got solution only configure for sqlserver session in asp.net. I didnt get right solution how to get in other apps.
ie, sample1 project hosted in IIS. In same IIS I host sample2 prjoect also. using sqlserver state in sample1 I stored one session date in AspState database in sample2 how I get that session da

Well, in your question no where SSO mentioned. Make sure what you are trying to do. Link posted in my Answer above very well explains how to share session data between two applications using SQL Server.

I got a solution by modified web.config and procedure. I hosted two applications in same IIS, its working fine session is sharing. But I hosted first application in one web server and second application another IIS the session is not sharing.
Did u have experienced on this?
