Active Directory not working in IIS7

I have a MVC4.0 application which is hosted in IIS7 with windows authentication. In one screen i am using the active directory for loading the user details . When i checked in my local host i was able to receive the data from active directory and it based on LDAP . but when i hosted the same in server version IIs7 , i am not able to load the data from active directory and getting the exception as ' a operations error occured'.

CAn any one help me in this?

Is the server computer a member of the same domain?

I found the solution for the problem. Using Hostenvironment.Impersonate() resolved the issue.Thank you who spent time for this problem.
