Draw custom datagridview

Hello Guys,

I'm new in C#.
I would like to draw custom datagrid in WinForm, with custom columns, rows...
Where on columns I can put some label with size one and half column.

Man, you should ask your question more specifically. It's not related to C#, but rather to GUI. And that can be WinForms, WebForms, WPF, Silverlight, you name it.

Too vague. If you want to custom-draw the grid, you need to take into account millions of things all together, not just some mystic label... :-) The question is not answerable.

Forget the label. Is that hard to draw custom grid ?

The main point is why I want to create manually grid in WinForm. I need columns header to show date, that is easy, rows header name that is easy too. But I want to have label / progress bar which can goes from one date to half of second, this is not easy for me :). So if I use progress bar it will be show percentage and color of progress if I use label only percentage. To show progress it's easy. I'm still learning C#, but for learning I like to learn on hard way.

Are you trying to create a gantt chart like this (http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-TwlAv6pqwF4/UQbJJB4kRUI/AAAAAAAAAyw/XcmK5mix-wA/s1600/Gantt+chart.jpg) or something similar using the DataGridView control?

Yes, something like that. But I instead of coloring columns I would like to put progress bar example, which will start 3rd December and finished somewhere in half of second columns

I do not understand your desire to insert a ProgressBar control into the DataGridview (I also do not know how you would accomplish your goal with the given constraints). You can subscribe to the CellPainting event and draw pretty much whatever you want subject to the limits of your skill in using the GDI+ methods available to you.

Try playing around with the code from this example.

Hint: Create a Rectangle and assign it the value of e.CellBounds. Then set its width property to half the original width and call e.Graphics.FillRectangle with this new rectangle.

But not that complicated, just need dates, and on this example Product, in my application it will be the name of my task.
