I am working on Image Noise Level Estimation by Principal Component Analysis. can anybody tell me how to measure a image noise in java?

suppose i have one noise image like lena.jpg and i want to estimate how much noise having in that? i have lot of options in matlab, if anybody know how to do it in java plz suggest me...
