Which language is best to make an efficient and interactive map application

Hello everyone,
I want to make an interactive map application. I don't know which programming language is best to achieve this task. I know programming basics. I have developed programs in C/C++. I can learn other language as well for this task. The application is for the windows not for the web page.

Wrong question. To find out the "best" you need to define a predicate bool IsBetter(Language first, Language second). Can you do that? I don't think so. Better for what?

'Best language' means the language which developers may have already used for map applications.
