I need to have a feature in which users can assign the Shortcuts of their own choice for the Menu Items . Please suggest the standard way of doing this.?

Is this Windows Forms, WPF ? I'd like to see some effort by you to solve this, and your asking specific questions here. Start by analyzing what a shortcut is, and how they work.
