What type of string does ADO 's ado open command for connection object take.Is it ANSI of or _bstr_t or wchar_t?
 

Some examples use ANSI some use _bstr(L"Some String").
Which string is really the right string to use or is it that all the above mentioned str are acceptable?

Its BSTR, in ur case _bstr_t. Check below url
