i want to develop a chat application in windows from to be implemented with in a Ethernet. I am in research phase. i want to to happen like a Facebook. any one please share idea behind this. i just need idea how it can be done in the best possible way. Thanks in advance. :)

Are you show you want to limit yourself specifically to Ethernet? Do you have any idea on what is Ethernet? (Not Internet.)

i have read it. ok i want to do it in intranet within an organization but i want sql server in there. can u suggest me what to do..

No. You added one more term, "Intranet". Now, why "Ethernet"? Do you know what is it?

That is far too broad a question for a forum such as this; we cannot design your application for you. You need to set down your requirements and then do research into how to implement the various parts. Google will find you lots of articles on basic chat applications which you can adapt to make what you want.

Again, that is far too broad a question. Go and read the documentation and sample articles on SQL server to see how it works.

yeah i am trying my best i have tried few project as well but they do not user SQL server. if u have any idea then. help me..:)

I already told you this question is impossible to answer. If you want to use SQL then you need to go and study some of the articles and samples that Google will find for you. You cannot create a database project from a just few lines of code.
