How Do I Return Address Location Of A Place From Where User Has Logged Into C# Using Google Map Api Or Other Tools?

i am creating web application where in as user log-in, the address from where he has logged in must be stored in database.. In order to capture address, i have decided to use Google map API.. however, i am totally new to Google maps API.. what i thought was users address to be plotted into the Google map when he log-in from particular location. then the address generated is to be returned into database... Is is possible to create this application using this logic!!! If so,, any coding help?
or is there any alternative way to do this!!
