How to login to Third party Website using XML web services?

I have my own website for eg. abc.com and I have an account on third party website for eg. xyz.com. I need to login to xyz.com account through my site ( abc.com ) using xml web service integration.

I am not sure which technical approach should be used to attain my results. If more explanation needed kindly drop in comments.

Kindly help with details like what method can be followed. I hope this helps others too.
