In Windows Features wizard (Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Program and Features), I checked on the \Remote Server Administration Tools\Feature Administration Tools\SMTP Server Tools. But in my IIS7 Feature View, the SMTP-Email icon is still not displayed. Why? Thanks.

What makes you believe that SMTP option is supposed to be there? It might be, but I just checked it up: I also cannot see any SMPT-related items there (Windows 7 Professional)...

SA: Checked, the ASP capabilities on IIS was not checked. After checked it on, refreshed IIS, the ASP Group (w/ the SMTP Email) appears on IIS Features View. Thanks for your review.

1 solution

Open the Programs & Features, and select Turn Windows Features on or off. Then check on the needed features, the ASP Group (w/ SMTP Email) displays on the IIS 7. Thanks to Reviewers, esp. to those provided comments or solutions.
