I am getting this error in visual studio 6(VB6).

My application is running on window server 2003(32 bit) but it is giving the below error in window server 2008 R2(64 bit)

Error Description: New transaction cannot enlist in the specified transaction coordinator.
Error Source: ProviderError Number: -2147168246

we have also tried possible solution like re-intalling MS DTC and updating the properties of local MS DTC .

Please help me out.

Thanks in Advance!

Without the code we're not going to be able to help much. Couple of points you could try ... use OutputDebugStr to get some indication of what is going on, or have a look in the Event Viewer - there may be more info there. But one thing for sure ... you're never going to get a VB6 program running as 64 bit
