HI,

i recently try published code on server. i used file system option to generate the publish code on vs 2010 solution explorer. my website have css , js , images and some other folders as well. now when the code publish it generate all .aspx files and bin folder and also add other folders inside it. but somehow one or two folder were totally missing and inside css folder one file was also missing. initially i did not check but once i publish the code on test site then i came to know about this. i am not sure why it behaves like this. i think if we publish a site it should copy other content as well.

not sure if i miss any settings ?

Hi,

Select the particular css or js file which is missing at the publishing time.
And go to property window select "Build Action" as “content”.
Now try to publish
