I have a picture in a cell and to copy it and paste it in desktop , I tried the following:

Firstly, I highlighted that particular cell.
Secondly, I selected the 'paste' in the bar and chose 'as picture' and then 'copy as picture' and in the copy picture dialog box I selected 'As shown in screen' and under format I chose 'picture' and pressed 'OK' button and as such I got the picture in the clipboard. Well. But how to copy this picture in clipboard and paste it in desktop?

What? If the picture is in the clipboard, ctrl + v should paste the picture anywhere.

If ctrl+v pastes a picture from your clipboard in Word, then crtl+v will work for a folder too. If it is not working for you then there is something that you are not telling us.

You might get better help if you posted the code that you wrote that copies the image to the clipboard.

There is no code, it is all manually done.

Hi,

I am doing this easily with the embedded pictures. Steps:
1. Select the image.
2. Simple Copy or Copy as Picture... The picture is in the clipboard now.
3. Open any picture editing software (MS Paint, Photoshop) and paste it there.
Note: In MS Paint you might need to crop the image (after pasting: Right Click on the image -> Crop) in order to resize the canvas to the size of the image.
4. Save the picture in desired format and location.
5. Done.

You haven't done the step 4 correctly. Instead of trying to save the picture directly from the clipboard to the desktop, you need to save the picture from MS Paint using Save or Save as.

Why you are trying to copy the picture from MS Paint??? You need to save it to the desktop from MS Paint using Save or Save as. That's it! You should have it on the desktop.

Or maybe I don't understand what exactly you are trying to do...?
