Thats pretty unusual (almost impossible id say). You probably did something else or you just cant find your project for other reasons.

is your files are still there in the folder? or gone from there as well. if files are there just reopen that.

You first go and check it in the recycle bin ,if there restore it....
Or
If it is there in the root folder then try to open correctly...
Or
If fully deleted use the tool for restore http://www.piriform.com/recuva[^]
