If you plan to use Java for Android development (and it makes sense) then you have to learn Java. You may find many tutorial available, just Google for. You could also start with a Java tutorial focused on Android development (as before, Google is your friend[^]).
Then you need the Android SDK as well an IDE, see the Get the Android SDK[^] page.
If you like to read a book, Burnette's one: "Hello, Android"[^] though dated, is a good starting point.
