How To Implement This In An Another Working Project Where I Need This Functionality Alone?

Am working on building an android device to fit in cabs and in that am looking for the driver to use only my application so that he should not be able to use functionality like calling texting etc . Can any one explain how to merge this functionality with my existing androi application? I found this link but i dont know how to merge it with my project
