Limiting Number of Computer using my program

Hi everyone i have a project im right that will inside a local network have anywhere from 5-25 computers running it, i want a internal licensing program that checks how many computer are running and tell them when they have 2 many, or maybe just a way to securely licensee it to limit the number of computers running any suggestions would be a of great help

Think about a license Service, where clients request a license on Startup.

that is a good ideal but i need a direction to move on, until now i been using a license based service from intellilock but it can be rather annoying licensing every single pc put out and any that are replaced
