I have a situation where a SharePoint site has some custom actions on its document library context menu – both 3rd party and a simple bespoke action I have developed.

Now, the custom actions work fine when the context menu is displayed from a specific document library but do not get displayed on a content query which is rolling up doc lib items from multiple doc libs. To clarify, I have a context menu showing for this content query web part but it does not have the custom actions shown.

A lit search found the following question, which is basically identical to the issue, but remains unresolved. I have included the link to that query, in case it clarifies the issue:

http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/697b7dba-c287-4fc0-b4cc-70e221843841/custom-action-in-context-menu-not-appearing-in-the-listviewbyquery-control?forum=sharepointdevelopmentprevious

Of course, I am using an (extended) content query webpart, but the question premise is the same…

So, long story, short, I am trying to leverage the greater skills of the broader SharePoint community to try to make this work. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, but can't see how this will help? Please clarify what part of this cited reference you think is pertinent in rectifying the issue. The article seems to be about custom forms, as opposed to use of content querty web parts?
