Reading barcode in Crystal Report

Hi I want to print a barcode in cystal report.
I have a text in crystal Report ,its font is barcode 128NR.I can print the output of crystal,and the font of text is correct.But the barcode reader can not read the barcode which is printed.
what can i do?

Update your question by giving the link of the image ? Some times font size matters in reading the barcode.

I read this page before. but the problem is part 5,which use "CR_Formula.txt".
where is this formula?

My guess is you didn't format it correctly. 128 has special characters, you can't just use the 128 font and expect it to be read by a barcode reader.

The short answer is that, in general, "Fonts" are not suitable for real world barcode printing scenarios. Anyway, post your report output in pdf format so I can take a look at it and tell you what's wrong with it.

Solution 4

Hello

Use the below process to print bar code in the crystal report.

1) Generate bar code and create image file of generated bar code.

2) display the created image of bar code on the crystal report.

generating barcode is not a good way,beside saving image of it in database isnot a suitable way too!

I just did what CB Sharma speciied. However I wass unable to save the image as file. Its ben the whole day gone waste
