Hi Friends,
i need some clarification on Printing .

I am devoloping one software for super market.they need fast printing.
I am using Crystal report for printing.

How i increasesthe printing speedand also I want to know how to print data into condensed mode.

my printer is dot matrix.
plz help me ASAP........

If you mean the actual physical process, then you cannot do much, I believe (other that simplify the layout of your reports).

Solution 2

The code for dot matrix condensed printing are 0F (On) and 12 (Off).
Check if they are different for your printer (in the printer's documentation)

Converters these sequences into characters and then send them to the printer.
