About make 3D modeling for STL or IGES or STEP

In furniture design and processing, plans to develop software, it can make a complete 3D modeling, and the final design to output STL or IGES or STEP models ,last design model can be machined on CNC.  and I want to use VB, How to do it ?

All help will be appreciated.

If only display 3D mold shape, you can call the OpenGL. But if it involves models created with the output, that is a bit more complicated because you want to control the geometric characteristics of the model, and the data parsed output STL or IGES files.
Simple method, you can select some of the more mature, powerful 3D control, such as: EWDraw 3D ActiveX , it can output STL and IGES file formats .
