I converted an MFC vs2008 to an MFC vs2010 project but some of the buttons are generating other commands. How do I correct this?

For instance, the DELETE button shows the ABOUT tooltip and lunches the ABOUT dialog box.

Clearly there is a mixup. How do I correct this?

By going through your code and correcting the errors. It's unlikely that anyone here can guess what you have done wrong.

I did not write any toolbar related code.MFC wrote d code.I have searched endlessly for the piece of code where mfc added the toolbar button but it appears MFC has maske them.

Well you must have generated the code by using the Wizard somewhere, so all you need to do is check the resources of the project to see where the incorrect values are being used. It may be that some of the standard resource values changed between VS2008 and VS2010, but you probably need to look at Microsoft's forums to check whether that is true.
