Hello everyone,
I have a wcf REST service which is developed in .net framework 3.5 with visual studio 2008. It is hosted in a windows server 2008(The IIS version is 7.5), and this was working fine for last few months. Suddenly, since last Friday, it started to show some issues. when we try to use the rest service it is showing the following exception.
The connection has timed out
The server at localhost is taking too long to respond.
I have restarted the IIS and issue went away for sometime. But again after few minutes, the application became dead slow and I started to receive timeout exceptions. I don't think much changes occurred in this server; the only one thing I noticed is some windows updates were applied.
If someone could help me to figure out this issue, that would be great.
