hi, i need to do a asp c# site that displays a list of uploaded csv. and when the user clicks on the selected csv. a new page opens up with the contents of the csv will be displayed in gridview.

can anybody help? thanks.

how should i begin in constructing the codes to allow users to 'get' the name of the selected file and then display the contents of the CSV in a new page?

What do you mean "how should i begin"? Open your project in your IDE and start writing some code. Do some research, write more code.
