So I just installed Visual C++ 2010 Express in order to start learning how to use the Windows Form section of it, but it's giving me an error whenever I try to make one.

I have installed it before, and I believe I've had this issue before... but I never bothered to fix it.

Anyone know what's up with this?

In complete question. Show us the error message and the code.

At which step of the process do you get this error and, is a line of code referenced in the error message?

Unless you googled for your question title and found a bunch of results, it's not unreasonable to think that that no-one has any idea of the answer from that single sentence.

It then follows that in order to answer your question, users will be required to engage in a back-n-forth with you to garner the minimum of details need to answer your question.

I'd encourage you to determine which component of the build system throws that error (compiler, linker) and to paste a small snippet that demonstrates (if applicable) the erroneous code. Also, look up "SSCCE" - questions almost always get good answers if they provide one.
