I am working on my FYP, I have develop a asp.net 4.0 website with ms sql 2012 database. Now next i have to get the MSSQL database as a web service and showed it own android application.
I have google it but fund many articles of different categories that is confusing me. Is anyone here had done this type of work. Please share in the form of articles, books or tutorials?

Actually i have to show the data form MsSQL server to android Application.

The only problem is: if all the article you found are confusing you, it's very likely that the articles some may reference for you will confuse you, too. It would be more productive if you could explain the some particular reasons of your confusion.
Besides, your topic is too general and vague. Covering all related topics may require a whole book... :-)

I have found articles some says WCF jason service, some says restfull apis and other stuff. as i don't have enough knowledge of web services and which would be better in my case.
