Having trouble loging into SOAP Based web service from an Android App.

I am developing an Android app for the website they created a SOAP Based webservice for log into that website from android app, but i am not able to do it. I dont have any idea what kind of data it should return after successfull login.? Please any Suggestions will be welcome in this.

Is the webservice returning Json data or Xml format data?
