I am compiling fdm source code 2.5.700 but it came with errors and i don't have any solution.

can anyone tell me how do i compile the source code...

i am using

Visual C++ 2005 express edition

You would probably be way better off finding a Windows library that does what you want instead of trying to make a library written for *nix to compile under Windows.

The chances are you are compiling it with the wrong compiler.
Start with the website: http://freedownload.sourceforge.net/[^] and check that you downloaded the right version, and that it is for the right compiler.

The most likely thing is that your compiler is so far out of date (2005 is what? Four versions behind the times?) that you will have to upgrade your development environment in order to compile it.
