How Do I Add A Class As Fault Contract Type In Enterprise Library Exception Handling

I use Microsoft Enterprise Library to handle exceptions. i want to add a fault handler and select a class in the project that is defined as DataContract. i don't know how to tell the library to throw my custom fault exception
