Pls how can one stop flicker in an mfc app?
I once saw in a google result that all one need do is to handle OnEraseBkGnd handler and return true. When I did that I started seeing my PC desktop through the background of my app.Please is there an effective way of stopping flicker?

Research double buffering

First of all, we cannot see your code to say if handling erase background is reasonable or not. If you do it without understanding, just because you read some advice, you are already on wrong track. Double buffering usually helps fighting flicker, but you should understand why and how.
