how to insert date and time in content provider ?

I need to add contact numbers and expiry date .If expiry date comes i should get notification saying whether to delete contact or not ?.how to do this ?

Just the same as the others. Get the date and time from the system and format it into a string.

AFTER INSERTING I WANT TO CHECK.EG X CONTACT STORED BY GIVING EXPIRY DATE AND TIME AS 14/9/2014 5:00PM .I SHOULD GET NOTIFICATION SAYING WHETHER TO DELETE CONTACT OR NOT ?HOW TO DO THIS ?

In android sir.Sorry for capitals and I searched in net and got idea to insert contacts it in content provider.I too dnt have idea how to do this?.If you get some idea can you share ?
