How do I change WixVariable value using a custom action?

Hi,

I have developed an outlook app. I have used WIX for creating the setup. I have added a C# custom action project into the solution. I need to change the value of "wixvariable id="WixUIBannerBmp" value="top_banner_a.jpg" (which is in the Product.wxs) using custom action method. Please advice.
