problem in building ?

hi all ,
i take project from my frind
i was working on vs 2008 , i remove it and install vs 2010
after opening the friend project when make build it give me this error

Error 2 It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS. C:\Users\hasnaa\Desktop\ministry\PrivEdu\PrivEdu\Web.config 28

after alot of search i expect that virsual directory on iis does not match virsual of site
how can i fix this my laptop is windows 8

Solution 1

1. Remove virtual directory from IIS
2. Open project properties in VS
3. Select 'Web' tab
4. In 'Servers' group select he kind of IIS you want to use
5. Fix 'Project URL' if need
6. Hit 'Create Virtual Directory'
