Hi,

I want to get Data from SAP and I have to store the same in SharePoint 2013 List. I read in many articles telling about lot of third party tools to connect and get the data. But I need a solution that is OOTB sharepoint. I don't have much idea about BCS. If any one please help me how to do that step by step.

I need to know how authentication between SharePoint and SAP works
If I want to connect SAP what are all the ways available to connect and how to connect
Steps to do that

Solution 1

There is a SAP .NET Connector 3.0[^], which is designed "for communication between the Microsoft .NET platform and SAP systems. This connector supports RFCs and Web services."

I'd suggest to visit SAP community[^] to get more information.
