Cannot install JDK Win32

Hi!

I am having trouble installing JDK for Windows 7 bit-32. Is there any other program that I need to install before the JDK to make it work? I want my Eclipse to work. :(

JDK has no prerequisites, and generally just installs and works. What exactly are the issues you are facing?

Everytime I run the program, This error "jdk-8u25-windows-i586.exe is not a valid Win32 application." comes out. My PC is 32-bit (FYR).

Is it that the JDK I have downloaded is not yet complete that is why the error is popping up?

Have you tried JDK7? Same error?

Solution 2

Download the Official JDK from Oracle. Mostly I face quite the same problem which is after some time accompanied with something about the set up file being corrupt.
