How to select object roughly by the user on screen using openCV with c++

Sir/Madam,
The main goal of my project is to select object roughly by the user on screen and tracking on consecutive frames,that selected object to be removed and reconstruct the removed area. I've no idea about object selection.can anyone tell about how to do obj selection on screen??.
