How to Broadcast a message over a udp network

I am working on an App which starts as app icon is clicked and broadcasts a message over the network in UDP format untill it gets a response from one of the clients.
How to supply parameters to oncreate????
& how to respond to a specific address

Have you checked the documentation on the Android developers site? There is plenty on there. Check that first and if you get stuck with a specific issue then ask your question on here.
